The New Covenant Made Only With Israel

The New Covenant, or "New Testament" is not the last 27 books of the Bible (Matthew to Revelation), as many in the churches say today.

The New Covenant is the agreement God has made with Israel, as recorded in Hebrews 8:8-12

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith YHVH, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith YHVH.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith YHVH; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a ELOHIYM, and they shall be to me a people:

And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know YHVH: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Hebrews 8:8-12

This is the same New Covenant or "New Testament" that is taught by the churches of today. When a person says "I am a New Testament Christian", it should mean that he follows the New Covenant stated here in Hebrews 8:8-12, which the Hebrew writer quotes from Jeremiah 31:31-34.

Although this New Covenant supercedes the Old Covenant made with Israel at Mount Sinai (Hebrews 8:13), please note that God's Law, or Torah was not eliminated by the New Covenant. Rather, the Law is "put into our minds and written in our hearts" (Hebrews 8:10) by Yahweh as part of the New Covenant.

Where the Hebrew writer quotes this passage from Jeremiah 31:33, the word "Law" in that verse is from the Hebrew word "Torah". If the Torah is not written on your heart by Yahweh, you may not be in the New Covenant.

The Law is not "done away" or "nailed to the Cross", but is an integral part of the New Covenant. The Churchianity churches of today that teach the Law is abolished are no better than the Jewish Talmud followers who find loopholes around the Law. Only the Ordinances, or blood sacrifices are nailed to the Cross (Colossians 2:14)

Another important point is to ask "With whom is the New Covenant made?" That is, who are the parties of this New Covenant?

Reading again from Hebrews 8:8

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith YHVH, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

The New Covenant is made by Yahweh with:

• The House of Israel
• The House of Judah
  Hebrews 8:8

The House of Israel is also called "The Northern Kingdom", and consists of the 10 tribes of Israel that were taken away into Assyrian captivity.

The House of Judah is called "The Southern Kingdom", and consists of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin. For the New Covenant to be an accurate prophecy of today, all twelve tribes of Israel must exist and be inside the New Covenant.

Let's draw a circle, to represent the New Covenant or New Testament God has made with His people:

Inside this New Covenant, as written in Hebrews 8:8-12, we place the House of Israel and the House of Judah as the followers of Yahshua the Christ:

Outside the New Covenant or New Testament, are non-believers in Yahshua as the Christ, namely the Moslems, Hindus, and the "Jews" of today.

The question is, "How can the Jews be Israel if they are not in the New Covenant?" The Bible clearly states that Israel is inside the New Covenant, but the "Jews" of today are not. So how can they be Israel?

That is, it makes as much "sense" to call the Moslems or Hindus "Israel" as it does the "Jews" of today.

 

Yahshua to Rule His People Israel

Another verse that contradicts the false teaching that the "Jews" of today are Israel is found in Matthew 2:6, which states that Yahshua will rule His people Israel.

And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
Matthew 2:6

Again, let us draw a circle diagram for this verse to show that Yahshua rules His People Israel, and who He does not rule.

While Yahshua rules Yahweh's people Israel, the Hindus, Moslems, and "Jews" of today do not submit to the rule or shepherding of Yahshua the Christ.

The question is, How can the "Jews" of today be Israel of old when they reject Yahshua as the Christ? It is absolutely impossible for the "Jews" of today to be Israel.

 

The Twelve Tribes of Israel Follow Yahshua

All Twelve Tribes of Israel are in existence today, are in the New Covenant, and submit to Yahshua's rule over them. In Acts 26:7 the Apostle Paul states that the Twelve Tribes, who serve God day and night, were hoping for, and awaiting Yahshua as their Messiah as what Yahweh had promised to their fathers:

Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving day and night, hope to come.
Acts 26:7

The Book of James is written to the Twelve Tribes of Israel, scattered abroad:

James, a servant of ELOHIYM and of the ADONAY YAHSHUA MASHIYACH, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
James 1:1

And, the Book of Hebrews is written to the Hebrews. The question arises from these verses, how many "Jews" hope for Yahshua as the promised Messiah, or read the Book of James or the Book of Hebrews?

The answer is, not any, since once a "Jew" drops the Babylonian Talmud and accepts Yahshua as the Christ, his relationship to Yahweh changes, and therefore his religious title changes from "Jew" to "Christian."

True Israel has long since converted into Christianity. For nearly 2000 years, Israel is and has been, Christian, and can be accurately called today "Christian Israel." All of the promises Yahweh has made with Israel have been kept. Praise Yahweh!
